Job Title: MRI Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Somerville, New Jersey.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MRI technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the MRI table to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
  • Inject contrast media as required to enhance image quality.
  • Set technical parameters and monitor image data during scans to ensure optimal results.
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations, ensuring patient safety at all times.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as accepted professional guidelines.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a professional and compassionate manner.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience, preferably in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
