Job Summary:

The Commercial Associate Project Manager plays a crucial role in assisting designated customer projects, ensuring objectives are met within the prescribed timeframe and budget while adhering to applicable pharmaceutical regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain customer-specific production schedules for long-term forecasts and short-term production demands, ensuring schedule integrity and communication.
  • Communicate any OTD risks and maintain accurate forecasts for monthly MRP runs.
  • Understand purchasing authorization from supply agreements, place purchase order requisitions, and work with procurement to expedite, delay, or cancel as necessary.
  • Maintain an understanding of the jacket creation process, including LE form creation, material receipt/release, batch record preparation, and JDE work order creation.
  • Track OTD and packet issuance metrics for business units and manage purchase order statuses to ensure on-time delivery metrics are met.
  • Work with customers to ensure correct components and artwork changes, verify pricing, and communicate price variances with management.
  • Review and approve documentation, including specifications and batch records, as required.
  • Responsible for sales order entry, BOM creation, item number creation, and overall data entry accuracy and management.
  • Track releases of finished goods and assist in the preparation of shipment documents.
  • Assist with NMR's and Component Variance Notifications.
  • Order and ensure shipper labels and print mats are ready for maintenance and production requirements.
  • Ensure obsolete materials are billed for and managed after a component revision or the end of a project.
  • Responsible for ensuring the destruction of obsolete materials & expired materials as well as providing the COFD to the customer (as required).
  • Facilitate IQA to ensure timely release of components and bulk.
  • Allocate and manage lot-specific materials to the Work Order.
  • Maintain optimal component inventory levels for customer-owned inventory.
  • Provide continuous support to Project Managers and teams for day-to-day internal problem-solving and troubleshooting.
  • Train and onboard new employees within the same role, as requested.
  • This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
  • Attendance to work is an essential function of this position. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

  • On an average day, the individual can expect to move and/or transport up to 10 pounds less than 1/4 of the day.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed at a desk and/or in an office environment for 3/4 of the day and up.
  • The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate's Degree in a related field and/or 1-3 years related experience and/or training.
  • College Level Mathematical Skills
  • Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
  • Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
  • Very High Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Be able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in math or diagram form and deal with several abstract/concrete variables.
