Surgical and Telemetry Nursing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to become a vital part of our Surgical/Telemetry team on the Day Shift in a full-time capacity at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center. Our Medical/Surgical Unit comprises 18 beds dedicated to delivering exceptional care for patients undergoing a variety of surgical interventions and general medical treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, execute, and document nursing care for designated patients
  • Support physicians during examinations and medical procedures
  • Conduct patient assessments and administer medications within the scope of nursing practice
  • Encourage patient autonomy by setting care objectives and educating patients and their families

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
  • Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state
  • BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS certification is preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing is preferred
  • Experience in orthopedics and telemetry is advantageous
