We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Medical Apparel Retail Specialist to join our team at Scrubs & Beyond. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, achieving individual sales goals, and contributing to the store's sales goals while maintaining our merchandising and housekeeping standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service on the selling floor, in the fitting room, and at the cash wrap
  • Actively work with garments, including receiving, ticketing, stocking, and merchandising, per our guidelines
  • Ring sales on the register, receive and process cash and credit payment, issue receipts and pack merchandise for our customers
  • Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting cash, processing charge slips, coupons, balancing cash drawers, and making deposits
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. is essential, Associate degree is preferred, along with 6 months - 2 years of retail experience
  • Excellent customer service skills are essential
  • Commitment to a flexible schedule
  • Math competency to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, and percentages
  • Basic computer skills
Compensation

Starting at $15.13. Scrubs & Beyond encourages applications from candidates at all levels where pay will be based on experience.

Physical Demands

This job is primarily sedentary work, must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 90% of the time, occasionally move about the office, manual dexterity to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment, constant close visual acuity to view a computer screen, auditory acuity to perceive the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, constant communication to exchange accurate information, must be able to work in stressful situations.
