Key Responsibilities

As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting performance testing and analysis within a continuous integration framework. While your primary focus will be on core UI components, your work will resonate throughout the entire software ecosystem. You will encounter numerous challenges and opportunities to effect change, collaborating across various departments to deliver exceptional user experiences. Your role will also involve identifying performance trends and anomalies, allowing you to develop unique skills that enhance your visibility and career growth within the organization.
  • A strong passion for product quality and performance, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing complex issues across various layers of the software stack.
  • Familiarity with extensive codebases.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Knowledge of tools and methodologies for analyzing and benchmarking operating systems and application performance.
  • Experience with low-level programming languages such as Assembly, C, C++, Objective-C, or Swift.
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience in software performance, particularly in mobile applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Compensation & Benefits
  • At Apple, your base salary is just one aspect of our comprehensive compensation package, which is determined within a competitive range. This structure allows for growth as you advance in your role. The salary range for this position is between $58.61 and $88.29 per hour, contingent upon your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

    Employees at Apple have the opportunity to become shareholders through participation in our discretionary stock programs. Additionally, employees may be eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards and can purchase Apple stock at a discount through our Employee Stock Purchase Plan. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or commission payments.
