Job Title: Occupational Therapist

LHC Group is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Millburn, New Jersey.

About the Role:
  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, focusing on functional status, activities of daily living, and fine motor coordination.
  • Assess and evaluate patient care needs, developing treatment plans to improve and enhance patient well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Conduct home assessments and provide adaptive equipment recommendations to support patient independence.
Responsibilities:
  • Deliver occupational therapy services within the scope of practice, adhering to state laws and regulations.
  • Evaluate patient progress, reporting outcomes to the nurse supervisor and physician.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare teams on occupational therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Participate in staff conferences and committees to enhance patient care and team collaboration.
Requirements:
  • Current Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of New Jersey.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle.
