Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver non-medical, in-home assistance to elderly and disabled individuals
  • Assist with personal hygiene tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Prepare meals and monitor dietary needs, including grocery shopping
  • Provide reminders for medication administration
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Transport clients to errands, appointments, and shopping

Candidate Qualifications:

  • A strong commitment to serving seniors, demonstrating a high level of responsibility
  • Preferred 1+ years of hands-on experience in a home or facility setting
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must successfully pass a state/nationwide background check and fingerprinting
  • Valid Driver's License, ownership or lease of a vehicle, and proof of current auto insurance required
  • Ability to assist with patient transfers and mobility, including care for bed-ridden individuals
  • Capable of performing all personal care and hygiene tasks as outlined
  • Positive demeanor, cheerful attitude, and a focus on client needs
  • Experience with Alzheimer's or Dementia care is preferred

Visiting Angels provides an alternative to assisted living facilities and nursing homes. Our dedicated caregivers offer hourly and live-in care, ensuring clients can maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.
