Job Description

Job Summary:

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN Labor and Delivery to join our team. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality patient care and developing your professional skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in Labor and Delivery, including couplet care, labor support, and nursery care.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, report changes, and respond to emergencies.
  • Document patient information, progress, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.

Requirements:

  • Current California RN licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Newborn Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • American Association of Perinatal Social Workers (AWHONN) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.

Shift and Schedule:

3 x 12 hour shifts, with 30-minute start times, no on-call shifts, and every other weekend.

Pay and Benefits:

Competitive pay package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
