Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team at Aerotek. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks on the assembly line, including reading and interpreting drawings, lifting and moving materials, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings to determine material requirements or assembly instructions.
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 45 lbs. consistently through a 10-hour shift.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy.
  • Maintain and assume responsibility for equipment (hand tools, etc.) that are issued.
  • Receive, unload, and transfer materials to different workstations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment and ensure compliance with the company's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to stand and / or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift, carry push or pull equipment up to 45 lbs consistently.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.

Work Environment:

The warehouse environment is typically in the construction phase and personal protective equipment (PPE) must always be used including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.
