Job Title: Early Intervention Developmental Specialist

At Criterion Child Enrichment, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Intervention Developmental Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

We provide comprehensive early intervention services to families with children birth to 3 years of age with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays. Our team works collaboratively with families to provide education, training, and support to help their children learn and grow.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized family service plans (IFSPs) in collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area, including screenings, assessments, child groups, and parent groups.
  • Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families, including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
  • Provide service coordination to assigned caseload, including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of IFSPs.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early intervention and child development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as early childhood education, special education, or child development.
  • 300 hours of practicum or work experience with children under five years of age.
  • Working knowledge of computer-based technology, including a computer/laptop and cell phone.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
