Job SummaryWe are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Police Officers. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, maintaining order, and providing excellent customer service to the public.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct investigations of reported criminal activity and gather evidence
- Respond to citizen requests for service and provide assistance
- Enforce traffic and criminal laws and City ordinances
- Operate radar and check property security
- Investigate traffic accidents and determine circumstances
- Conduct interviews and interrogations and make arrests
- Develop criminal cases for prosecution and appear in court as a witness
- Prepare full and comprehensive reports on activities
- Maintain complete and accurate records of activities performed on duty
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Graduation from high school or the equivalent
- Status as a U.S. citizen or become a U.S. citizen within 18 months of employment as a police officer
- Current State Certification as a Police Officer
- Strong preference will be given to lateral officers with three years or more of experience, within the last five years, employed as a police officer
