We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Police Officers. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, maintaining order, and providing excellent customer service to the public.

• Conduct investigations of reported criminal activity and gather evidence
• Respond to citizen requests for service and provide assistance
• Enforce traffic and criminal laws and City ordinances
• Operate radar and check property security
• Investigate traffic accidents and determine circumstances
• Conduct interviews and interrogations and make arrests
• Develop criminal cases for prosecution and appear in court as a witness
• Prepare full and comprehensive reports on activities
• Maintain complete and accurate records of activities performed on duty

• Minimum age of 21 years
• Graduation from high school or the equivalent
• Status as a U.S. citizen or become a U.S. citizen within 18 months of employment as a police officer
• Current State Certification as a Police Officer
• Strong preference will be given to lateral officers with three years or more of experience, within the last five years, employed as a police officer
