Job Title: Registered Nurse - Dialysis

HCA Florida Healthcare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Hudson, Florida. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a medical surgical environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical surgical nursing and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of patients in a dialysis setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in dialysis or medical surgical nursing.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
