Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at GEM Freshco LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our juice process and packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain juice process and packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime and reduce maintenance costs
  • Monitor and maintain wastewater activities, boiler operations, and refrigeration systems to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Perform departmental cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or equipment repair specialist
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language
Working Conditions
  • Work in a non-air-conditioned environment with moderate noise levels
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
