About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to join our team as a Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing an enterprise DoD environment supporting the USAF, requiring a unique and dynamic skill set.

Responsibilities
  • Characterize and analyze network traffic to identify anomalous and potential threats to network resources
  • Coordinate with enterprise-wide cyber defense staff to validate network alerts
  • Document and escalate incidents, including event history, status, and potential impact for further action
  • Perform cyber defense trend analysis and reporting
  • Perform event correlation using information gathered from various sources within the enterprise to gain situational awareness and determine effectiveness of an observed attack
  • Analyze identified malicious activity to determine weaknesses exploited, exploitation methods, effects on system and information
  • Determine tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for intrusion sets
  • Conduct research, analysis, and correlation across a wide range of variety of all source data sets (indications and warnings)
Requirements
  • 5+ years experience serving with DoD cyber threat activities, including the life cycle of cybersecurity threats, attacks, attack vector, and methods of exploitation with an understanding of intrusion set tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
  • Familiarity or background in Intelligence Drive Defense, Cyber Kill Chain methodology, and/or MiTRE ATT&CK framework
  • High School diploma or GED required, TS/SCI Eligible clearance
