Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Per Diem

Job Summary: We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks related to nuclear medicine, including receiving and using radioactive materials, calibrating equipment, and assisting physicians with imaging procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform all hot lab related functions, including receiving, using, and discarding of Radio-pharmaceuticals
  • Calibrate the dose calibrator and perform QC procedures on gamma cameras
  • Identify patients and explain procedures to them
  • Obtain best possible images using prescribed technical parameters and techniques
  • Assure that all tests are performed properly and test results are valid and accurate

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program
  • Current NJ State license, ARRT and/or NMTCB certification
  • BLS certification
