Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Adjunct Instructor to join our team at Lee College. As a Clinical Adjunct Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and supervising students in the clinical and laboratory settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Supervision: Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student success and retention.
  • Course Planning: Plan and provide learning experiences for students based on program objectives and outcomes.
  • Clinical and Laboratory Activities: Create and implement clinical and laboratory activities that provide meaningful learning experiences for students.
  • Student Support: Provide students with direction for utilizing all available educational resources, including the library, computer lab, and personnel.
  • Course Team Meetings: Attend and participate in course team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Student Evaluation: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and conduct post-conferences as needed.
  • Grading and Record-Keeping: Grade written work and enter grades in a timely manner, while maintaining accurate records of student attendance, progress, and performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's (or higher) degree in Nursing.
  • Licensure: Current license or privilege to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas.
  • Experience: Two (2) years of clinical experience as a licensed nurse.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift a minimum of twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, computer proficiency, and ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Teaching Experience: Experience teaching nursing at the postsecondary level.
