Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization. You will work closely with our team of radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with interventional radiology procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, and embolization
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide support as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes
Requirements
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Interventional Radiology
  • BLS certification
  • MD Board of Physicians certification
  • 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
