Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and developing individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish appropriate treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy programs to improve communication abilities.
  • Evaluate patient progress regularly and adjust programs as needed to maximize patient outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding patient placement and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Valid state license to practice Speech Language Pathology.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • Previous experience in an acute care or rehab hospital.
  • Advanced training in a specialty area preferred.
