Job Summary:

As a Security Officer at Beaumont Health, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all individuals on hospital property. This includes:

  • Maintaining a secure and orderly environment and protection of the grounds and off-site buildings for Beaumont Health.
  • Enforcing rules, regulations, and policies of the hospital as appropriate.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and responding to the needs of patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patrolling hospital grounds and buildings to prevent and detect crime.
  • Responding to emergency situations and providing first aid as needed.
  • Collaborating with hospital staff to resolve conflicts and address safety concerns.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
