Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Kids Health First. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical providers in a fast-paced pediatric practice setting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist medical providers with patient examinations, procedures, and administrative tasks.
- Conduct thorough patient histories, vital signs, and screenings as needed.
- Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including explaining procedures and providing emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files.
- Perform various quality control procedures to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
- One year of progressively responsible experience in a medical setting; EMR experience a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures; ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions; strong organizational and time management skills.
