Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Nissan of Salt Lake. As a key member of our service department, you'll be responsible for performing expert repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, while providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that every vehicle that leaves our dealership is of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform efficient and expert repairs and maintenance on vehicles
  • Address customer concerns and diagnose issues to ensure 'Fixed First Visit' expectations
  • Master our Dealer Management System (DMS) for work distribution, electronic inspections, repair quotes, communication, and time keeping
  • Complete required training as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure that all customer vehicles are treated with the utmost care

Requirements

  • Nissan Certified, preferred
  • Previous Automotive Technician experience for Nissan/Used Dealerships, preferred
  • Accommodating and analytical, with a high level of technical expertise
  • Resourceful and unselfish, with a preference for detailed, skill-based work
  • Prior automotive technician (mechanic) experience, preferred
  • ASE or dealership manufacturer certifications, highly preferred
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S. with a valid in-state driver's license and a good driving record, per company standards
