Job Description

Spectra Tech is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead our structural engineering team and provide technical expertise on large industrial projects. As a key member of our engineering discipline, you will oversee project execution in all phases, providing guidance and supervision to other engineers and designers.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering, with experience in performing hand and computer calculations for foundations, concrete, and steel structures. You will also be proficient in using structural design software such as STAAD, STAADPro, and RISA3D, and have knowledge of wind and seismic loading in structural calculations.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing specifications and design criteria, performing and checking engineering analyses and calculations, and specifying materials, equipment, and systems. You will also coordinate technical issues with other disciplines, project management, vendors, and clients, and execute work in compliance with Project Quality Plan and procedures.
