Job Summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Nurse to join our team. As a Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in helping doctors perform cardiac catheterizations to diagnose and treat heart conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Preparation: Assess and prepare patients for cardiac procedures, including vital sign monitoring, lab result review, and medication administration.
  • Procedure Assistance: Assist doctors during cardiac catheterization procedures, monitoring and recording patients' vital signs and being prepared to intervene in case of an emergency.
  • Equipment Proficiency: Be proficient in all cardiac equipment used for catheterization, including EKG interpretation and titration of IV medications.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about the procedure and recovery process, providing reassurance and insight into what to expect.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in patient charts, including supplies and medication management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: RN license in good standing, minimum one year of recent experience in the Cath Lab, and active AHA BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Additional Certifications: TNCC certification preferred.
