Job Summary

Ralco is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Loading Specialist to join our team at our Marshall, MN Distribution Center. As a Loading Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate loading of products onto trailers and trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate with other team members to ensure seamless loading operations.
  2. Operate yard tractors and forklifts to move trailers and load/unload products as needed.
  3. Be familiar with finished products, ingredients, and MSDS books to ensure safe handling and storage.
  4. Use equipment such as pallet jacks and hand carts to load and unload products.
  5. Set up bulk bag trucks for loading and clean out trailers/trucks prior to loading.
  6. Receive load sheets from leads/dispatchers and load trailers/trucks accurately using FIFO and recording all amounts and lot numbers shipped.
  7. Receive incoming ingredients and know the locations of ingredients and finished products in our warehouses.
  8. Use staging areas for upcoming loads if time permits and notify Quality Assurance if in doubt of any product.
  9. Maintain the cleanliness of the area you work in and follow all safety and quality control measures.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in production and forklift experience is preferred. CDL preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license required for operation of company vehicles and forklift. CDL preferred.
  • Competencies: Ability to learn and use Microsoft Office applications, Ross ERP, Sterling Controls, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Other skills required include problem-solving, strong oral and written communication, basic math skills, goal-oriented, and self-driven.
  • Physical: Physical requirements include being able to lift 50 lbs. and wearing appropriate Personal Protection Equipment. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform key work duties.
