About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant to join our Bariatric Unit at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and report patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility, ensuring safe and efficient movement
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Participate in patient care planning and implementation, under the direction of the Registered Nurse
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in the state of New Hampshire or Massachusetts
- High school diploma or equivalent required; nursing assistant program graduate preferred
- 3 months of LNA experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
