Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. As an IR Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our inpatient/outpatient IR department.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of interventional radiology procedures, including neuro and peripheral interventions.
  • Operate imaging equipment and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education, promoting a positive and supportive experience.
  • Meet the requirements for certification and licensure, including ARRT registration and VA state licensure.
Requirements
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT registered - either CV or VI with VI being preferred.
  • BLS (AHA) required.
  • VA state license required. VA emergency license accepted. Must have another active state license to apply.
Work Schedule

4x10 hour days, 7:30A-6:00P, Monday-Friday, rotating day off. Possible weekend coverage. Call is required (one primary call per week and one primary call weekend per month); 30 minutes call back time.
