Job Summary:

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography procedures using General Electric Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 Computerized Tomography Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs CT procedures according to established operating procedures, clinical protocols, and imaging techniques.
  • Coordinates the scheduling of inpatients and outpatients to ensure efficient utilization of CT equipment and personnel.
  • Performs Quality Assurance Tests on CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality and equipment performance.
  • Obtains patient history and other relevant clinical information; documents all patient information on appropriate forms in preparation for review and dictation by a radiologist.
  • Starts IVs using appropriate technique, prepares and administers contrast material, and monitors patient condition during the CT procedure.

Requirements:

  • 12-24 months experience in radiology.
  • Graduate of Radiologic Technology program.
  • ARRT Registry (RT) certification.
  • IDNS License.
  • CPR certification.
  • IV Certification within 3 months of date of hire.

Working Conditions:

  • Able to respond to requests to work on short notice.
  • Flexible in starting times to meet demand.
  • Exposed to infectious diseases.
  • Must take call.
  • Willing to work overtime when requested.
