Position Overview:

We are looking for a committed and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with at least 1 year of experience in Internal Medicine and Primary Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in a collaborative and encouraging environment. This position includes managing a varied patient demographic, performing thorough evaluations, diagnosing and treating health conditions, and working alongside our healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and necessary diagnostic tests.
  • Identify and formulate treatment strategies for both acute and chronic health issues, adhering to evidence-based practices.
  • Deliver preventive care and health education to patients, fostering wellness and disease prevention.
  • Coordinate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Prescribe medications and oversee patient treatment plans in accordance with established guidelines and state laws.

Qualifications:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in North Carolina.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Internal Medicine and/or Primary Care.
  • Certification from a recognized NP/PA educational program.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to function effectively in a team-oriented setting.
