About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and charismatic Part-Time Bartender to join our team at Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience through our bar offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet Guests: Welcome guests at the bar within 30 seconds, introducing yourself and offering a beverage.
  • Knowledge of Bar Drinks: Have a strong knowledge of bar drinks, liquors carried in house, wine list, and beers carried in house.
  • Deliver Drinks and Inform Guests: Deliver drinks to the guest and inform the guests of the daily specials and soup of the day, along with any other pertinent information the guests need to know.
  • Offer Suggestions: Offer suggestions from the drink menu or an appetizer to start with, and up-sell.
  • Enter and Review Orders: Enter and review orders at the POS system.
  • Deliver Orders Accurately: Deliver orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Present Guest Checks: Present guest checks and collect payments accurately and in a timely manner, following all times Hilton's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain Proper Cash Handling: Maintain proper cash handling procedures.
  • Positive Attitude: Maintain a cheerful, positive attitude and appropriate conduct with both guests and teammates at all times.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: One year of bartending experience in a similar concept is required.
  • Language Skills: Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisor, and fellow employees.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: TIPS certification preferred.
  • Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs., be able to work long hours/split shifts, and be able to handle stressful conditions.
