At First Student, we take pride in safely transporting over 5 million students and passengers each day. Our team of professional drivers is dedicated to getting students to and from school safely, and we're looking for experienced CDL drivers to join our team.

  • $25.00-$27.00 per hour starting wage, depending on experience

About the School Bus Driver Position

As a school bus driver with First Student, you'll be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school. You'll enjoy the support of our industry-leading technology to guide you through your daily routes, and you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Our drivers are dedicated professionals who take pride in their work. They prioritize vehicle maintenance by conducting pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, and they provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus.

Requirements
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • At least 21 years old
  • Valid driver's license for at least 3 years
  • Subject to a drug screen and physical
