Job Overview:
Mammoth Mountain is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowcat Operator to join our team. As a Snowcat Operator, you will be responsible for operating Terrain Park Snow Cat equipment to perform feature building and maintenance in the resort's terrain park.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of high-level terrain park building experience, including 300+ hours of winch cat experience and 200+ hours of Zaugg experience. You will also need to have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

We offer competitive hourly pay rates, ranging from $24.00 to $35.21, as well as a range of benefits, including free skiing at all Alterra Resorts, ski/snowboarding lessons discounts, and equipment rental discounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Terrain Park Snow Cat equipment to build and maintain features in the resort's terrain park.
  • Build new features of any size, including jumps, rail features, half pipes, photoshoots, and special event venues.
  • Responsible for leaving a finished product on all new features by shoveling, digging, and raking.
