Job Summary:

The Associate Veterinarian will be an integral member of our hospital team, working directly with a managing doctor and supporting medical staff. This role involves advancing the quality of medicine in the practice and providing exceptional client service.


Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport with clients by gathering information and listening to their concerns.
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic procedures that deliver high-quality care while minimizing patient stress.
  • Communicate with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive health care.
  • Maintain accurate client/patient records and ensure all necessary logs are up-to-date.
  • Stay current on new medical information and changes in veterinary medicine.
  • Assist in developing the paraprofessional team to ensure delivery of high-quality care and exceptional client service.

Requirements:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in California.
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding veterinary ethics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
