We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team at Dallas Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular lab, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Responsibilities- Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab, including cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology.
- Monitor and maintain equipment, supplies, and instruments to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
- Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and technologies in cardiovascular medicine and invasive cardiology.
- ARRT-R certification and licensure as required by the state.
- Previous experience in a cardiovascular lab or invasive cardiology setting, preferred.
- Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring, preferred.
- BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Proficient computer skills.
Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission. We offer a wide range of medical services, including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging. Our hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area.
