Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated nocturnist to become part of our established hospitalist/nocturnist team, with opportunities for further growth. The selected candidate will integrate into our well-respected Hospitalist team. Key Features of the Role:

  • 7 days on, 10 days off (totaling 140 shifts annually)
  • Open ICU with necessary pulmonary/critical care consultation within 24 hours
  • Responsible for managing admissions during night shifts while an APP oversees the floor

Qualifications

Education, Certifications, and Experience Required:

  • Current clinical competence with sufficient experience demonstrating the ability to deliver services at a high standard of quality and efficiency;
  • A minimum of 2 years in acute care settings;
  • Board certified or board eligible through the relevant ABSM body;
  • Current licensure from the Texas Medical Board is preferred;
  • Additional competencies include effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to facilitate change and engage in multidisciplinary rounds, while supporting accreditation, compliance, and regulatory activities.
Compensation
$144.00 per hour
