Job Description

The Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority is seeking a highly skilled Management Analyst I-Human Resources to join our team.

This position will be responsible for performing entry to journey level human resources work in a customer service and team-orientated HR department. Key duties include planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of employee recruitment and selection, as well as applying initiative, critical thinking, and effective communication skills to independently assess complex situations.

Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection: Plan, coordinate, and execute all phases of employee recruitment and selection, ensuring exceptional candidate experience and adherence to compliance standards.
  • HR Program Development: Participate in the research development, recommendation, and implementation of HR programs, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and align with strategic goals.
  • Candidate Experience: Respond promptly to inquiries and concerns from staff and the general public, analyze issues to recommend corrective actions, and prepare clear, concise summary reports as needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders to identify organizational needs and develop actional HR solutions that drive effective and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with coursework in business management, human resources management, public administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in a public agency is desirable.
  • Applicable work experience can be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Valid Nevada State-issued Driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills.
