Union General Hospital seeks a skilled RN Supervisor to oversee the delivery of patient care on our night shift. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, while also guiding and directing our nursing staff to provide high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities- Make staff assignments and provide guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and non-licensed personnel
- Provide direct patient care and assist with new staff orientation
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs
- Assist in coordinating the operation of the nursing unit
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia
- Certification in CPR and ACLS (with PALS if applicable)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and high levels of stress. You must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move patients, and concentrate effectively in a dynamic setting.
