Job Title: Principal Firmware Test Engineers

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Firmware Test Engineers to lead our firmware development team in Milwaukee, WI. As a technical lead, you will be responsible for developing and executing test strategies for new firmware architectures, applications, components, and libraries to ensure timely delivery and meet all requirements.

The successful candidate will have a Master's or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, with 5 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience is also acceptable. You must have expertise in verification/validation testing, hardware in the loop (HIL) testing, embedded systems, or PCBA design. Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, C#, or C/C++ is essential. Leadership skills are also crucial as you will be leading cross-functional teams through all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test strategies for new firmware architectures
  • Lead the design, development, execution, and troubleshooting efforts for test procedures
  • Lead peer-review of test designs and automation
  • Develop test plans and drive consensus to enable timely delivery of firmware

Requirements:
  • Master's or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years of relevant experience in firmware development and testing
  • Expertise in verification/validation testing, HIL testing, embedded systems, or PCBA design
  • Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, C#, or C/C++
  • Leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
