Masonry Restoration Foreman

Houck Specialty Contractors is seeking a skilled Masonry Restoration Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our restoration department, you will be responsible for leading masonry restoration projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead masonry restoration projects, including mortar joint tuckpointing, masonry repair/replacement, and faade cleaning.
  • Supervise and train junior staff members in masonry restoration techniques.
  • Ensure all work is performed professionally and safely, adhering to OSHA guidelines and company safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in masonry restoration, with a strong background in leading teams and managing projects.
  • Membership in the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 5 or willingness to join.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

The Masonry Restoration Foreman will work in a variety of settings, including construction sites, warehouses, and offices. The position requires frequent travel, sometimes for overnight or multiple-day stays. Houck Specialty Contractors is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
