The Athletics Department at Coker University has several graduate assistant positions available for the upcoming academic year. Job Description

As a graduate assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our head coaches to develop and implement strategies for recruiting top talent, managing team operations, and enhancing the overall athletic experience for our student-athletes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist head coaches in developing and implementing recruiting strategies
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the athletic programs, including scheduling, communication, and budgeting
  • Collaborate with coaching staff to plan and execute practices, games, and other events
  • Monitor student-athlete academic progress and provide support as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective student-athletes, coaches, and staff members
Requirements

To be considered for these positions, applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and admission into the graduate program. Relevant experience as an intercollegiate athlete or coach is highly desirable, as is a valid driver's license and knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. AED/CPR certification is also required prior to employment.

Benefits

Each graduate assistantship includes tuition remission and a stipend. The positions are 10-month appointments that are renewable for a second year.
