Position: Senior Wireless Systems Engineer
We invite you to join our innovative team at DGS, a forward-thinking data solutions provider specializing in wireless networks. We are in search of a skilled professional for the role of Senior Wireless Systems Engineer, focusing on 5G wireless communication. In this pivotal position, you will contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of state-of-the-art 5G systems and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Engage with stakeholders to collect and evaluate requirements for 5G systems, ensuring they align with business objectives and industry benchmarks.
- Create advanced technological solutions and oversee their integration into the final product.
- Enhance the performance of 5G systems through system-level adjustments, parameter optimization, and performance evaluations to fulfill quality of service (QoS) standards.
- Strategize and optimize 5G network rollouts, taking into account coverage, capacity, interference, and mobility patterns to improve network efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Formulate strategies and algorithms to mitigate interference in 5G networks, employing techniques such as beamforming, power management, and spectrum allocation.
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within 5G systems, evaluate their implications, and devise strategies to ensure system resilience and security.
- Thorough understanding of 5G standards, including 3GPP specifications, radio access network (RAN) architecture, and core network components.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges in 5G systems.
- Experience in network planning, optimization, and troubleshooting of wireless communication systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of collaborating across various functional teams and influencing technical decisions.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees are preferred.
- Significant experience in the design, development, and deployment of wireless communication systems, particularly in 5G technology.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
