The Practice Director II is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Physician Practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient practice management. This role involves supervising a team of staff, developing policies and procedures, and managing personnel issues.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise daily activities of a Physician Practice, ensuring prompt and courteous treatment of patients.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain effective and efficient practice operations.
- Manage personnel issues, including new employee training, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Interview and participate in hiring decisions for designated office staff.
- Perform annual written performance appraisals of support staff.
- Collaborate with Regional leaders and Administrators to address issues and escalate concerns.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a Physician Practice or Healthcare setting, with management/supervisory experience preferred.
- Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Thomas Jefferson University & Jefferson Health.
