About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Obstetrics Nurse to join our esteemed Women's Health team at AdventHealth Gordon. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to our patients and contribute to a culture of excellence and compassion.

Responsibilities
  • Provide primary health care to individuals, families, or groups, functioning in a collegial relationship with physicians and other health professionals.
  • Assess learning needs, readiness, and capabilities of patients/families, including cultural, religious practices, language barriers, emotional barriers, educational level, motivation, and limitations.
  • Document patient care findings within established standards and accreditation requirements.
  • Manage the medical plan of care prescribed for the client, based on protocols or guidelines adopted jointly by the certified nurse midwife and attending physician.
  • Initiate referrals to external or internal care providers or community agencies as needed.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia.
  • Current certification as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
