Body Shop Technician Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Mechanic to join our team at Classic Collision Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles repaired by the company meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $80,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits including paid weekly, continuous training, supportive team culture, company match 401K, medical/dental/vision, paid time off, and six paid holidays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mend damaged bodies by hammering out or filling in dents and welding broken parts.
  • Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including welders, soldering equipment, cutting torches, blocks, hammers, wrenches, sanders, spray guns, etc.
  • File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces before turning vehicles over to the paint department.
  • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • I-CAR/ASE certifications preferred.
  • 2-3 years' collision repair experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information.
