As a Registered Nurse at Dignity Health's Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and patient-centered environment. Our hospital is recognized for its excellence in Joint Replacement and has achieved the prestigious designation as a Primary Stroke Center.
Responsibilities- Manage quality patient care through the nursing process, coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Assume leadership roles to prepare and assist unit personnel with their responsibilities, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Employees are responsible for completion of unit competency assessments, annual safety review, CPR, and renewal of license by maintaining continuing education units as required by hospital policy.
- Registered Nurses may be assigned other duties as needed.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse Graduate with 6 months to one (1) year of work experience in the operating room.
- Current California Registered Nurse license.
- Current approved health care provider CPR certification.
- Current ACLS or completion of ACLS course within 6 months of employment.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-2 years critical care experience and/or 1-2 years OR nursing acute care facility.
- Board Certification OR, CNOR.
- BSN.
