Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Manage Project Portfolios

Develop and manage project portfolios with revenue in alignment with account needs and expectations.

Develop Operating Concepts and Governance Models

Develop operating concepts, operations models, and governance models to drive organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Facilitate Client Meetings and Workshops

Facilitate client meetings, interviews, or work groups around key topics such as strategy, organization structure, budget, people, process, infrastructure, and technology.

Develop Solutions and Work Products

Work collaboratively in a team to develop solutions to solve organizational challenges and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of operations. Lead the development of work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client implementation.

Provide Change Management Recommendations

Develop business process improvements to existing programs and provide change management recommendations to clients.

Communicate with Stakeholders

Develop communications and executive presentations for agency leadership and assume responsibility for managing client relations, including Senior Executive Service and political appointees.

Provide Guidance and Coaching

Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff.

Requirements
  • Education

A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Experience

Minimum 6 (six) years of experience with business process analysis and improvement, transformation and strategy, facilitation, workshops, and presentations.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Strong written and verbal communication skills with products such as communications and executive presentations.

Location

Candidates should reside within a reasonable number of miles to a Washington, D.C., MD or Northern VA Guidehouse Office.

Clearance

U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Federal Consulting

Experience in Federal consulting or working with Federal agencies.

Transformational Programs

Experience with transformational programs.
