Job Overview

Kleen Test Products is seeking a highly skilled Sanitization Technician to join our team at our climate control facility in Port Washington, WI. As a Sanitization Technician, you will be responsible for sanitizing production equipment and environments in our production rooms.

This is a physically demanding position that requires the ability to haul and lift hoses, bend and reach to attach hose clamps while wearing full PPE. You will work closely with our Sanitization Supervisor and Plant Manager to ensure our production lines meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sanitize production equipment and environments in production rooms
  • Operate in alignment with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions
  • Complete paperwork in accordance with cGMP and GDP requirements and guidelines
  • Understand equipment functionality and perform inspections on cleaned equipment before use
  • Complete regular and unique training for specialized cleaning techniques
  • May operate forklift, floor scrubber, scissor lift, and/or boom lift in execution of duties
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area
  • Observe all safety, PPE, and quality procedures while completing required tasks

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED and one to three months of related experience and/or training in an active manufacturing environment
  • Experience in OTC and personal care bulk manufacturing is preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of PPE requirements and potential safety risks of not adhering to PPE protocols
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), etc.
  • Ability to read and understand training for specialized processes and retain information
