Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work in our Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other health team members to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other health team members to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Administer medications as ordered with appropriate documentation to ensure patient safety.
  • Monitor and evaluate patients before, during, and post procedure depending on unit to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Shares on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time if required to ensure 24/7 patient care.
  • Maintains cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Transports patients as needed to ensure timely and efficient care.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of the Cath Lab.
Requirements:
  • One to three years experience as a Radiation Technologist preferred.
  • Other certifications may be required for this position.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills.
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
