Key Position DetailsThis position includes a $7,500 signing bonus for eligible external talent. The successful candidate will work in a multi-modality role, performing diagnostic radiological imaging in various modalities, including CT, MRI, general radiology, nuclear medicine, diagnostic sonography, or mammography. The technologist will be responsible for completing procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines, identifying patients with two identifiers, documenting accurately, and maintaining a safe patient environment.
Responsibilities- Performs diagnostic radiological imaging procedures in multiple modalities, including CT, MRI, general radiology, nuclear medicine, diagnostic sonography, or mammography.
- Completes procedures in compliance with physician orders and department guidelines.
- Identifies patients with two identifiers and documents accurately.
- Maintains a safe patient environment during procedures.
- Provides accurate clerical functions, including using electronic medical records and imaging storage and retrieval systems.
- Communicates with supervisors and team members, reporting problems, issues, or ideas, and providing assistance, ideas, and information to support the work of others.
- Vocational or technical training graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- Registered technologist in the relevant modality, such as radiologic, CT, MRI, or nuclear medicine.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Allina in-house BLS training.
This role requires medium work, lifting up to 32 pounds occasionally and up to 25 pounds frequently.
