Meat Cutter Apprentice

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Meat Cutter Apprentice to join our team at Winn-Dixie Retail Stores. As a Meat Cutter Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the highest quality meat products.

• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and thanking customers in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner.
• Meat Cutting and Preparation: Cut and trim meat to specifications for variety, size, quality, and trim under the supervision of the Meat Cutter or Department Manager.
• Inventory Management: Receive and break down meat deliveries, and properly store and rotate department products to ensure freshness and date control.
• Equipment Operation: Operate department equipment and tools, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet company standards and are properly wrapped, weighed, and priced.

• Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
• Language: Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Authorization: Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Background Check: Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check.
