Job Description
Under the direction of the Radiology Shift Coordinator, performs various nuclear studies and diagnostic procedures utilizing radionuclide materials. Utilizes expertise in imaging technologies to produce high-quality images for medical professionals to diagnose and treat patients effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (CNMT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Nucleus Medicus (NM), or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- EKG
- BLS certification
Education
A graduate degree from an accredited school of nuclear medicine is required.
Experience
One to three years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech is preferred. The ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff is crucial for success in this role.
